The Light Rider Bitless Bridle is similar to a 'sidepull', but offers more release through the sliding chinstrap. It is suitable for most horses, particularly those that have been started in a halter and can be preferred by very sensitive horses or those who aren't happy with the 'whole head' pressure of a crossunder bitless. The noseband can be fitted more loosely than 'crossunder' bridles and is padded for extra comfort. A chin strap helps the bridle stay in place when pressure is applied to the reins - this helps prevent twisting of the noseband. As the chinstrap does not over-tighten, this bridle is usually well accepted by sensitive horses. The Light Rider is available in 4 styles. • Natural - a plain rope bridle. Supplied with reins. brass fittings. • Performer - rope bridle with antigall padded noseband for those who ride for longer periods with contact. Supplied with reins. brass fittings • English - traditional-styled bridle made from Beta with a padded noseband or Leather with a padded headpiece, browband and noseband. Stainless steel fittings. Not supplied with reins but rope reins with stainless steel clips are available seperately. • Noseband - Padded Leather or Padded Beta noseband for easy attachment to any bridle. The supplied reins are attached with swivel-clips and can also be used as a lead rope as each bridle features a connector at the bottom of the noseband. The Natural and Performer rope bridles are available in Black, Blue or Purple in medium or large. Small or extra large also available on special order. The English Beta bridle is black or chestnut brown in Cob, Full and Warmblood sizes. Pony sizes available on special order. The Leather English bridle is available in Black in Cob and Full sizes. The Beta Noseband is available in black in Cob, Full and Warmblood sizes. The Leather Noseband is available in Black or Brown in Cob, Full or Warmblood sizes. |
